Delcross Technologies releases latest version of EMIT software

CST partner company Delcross Technologies’ latest update to its EMIT (Electromagnetic Interference Toolkit) software offers users 13 new pre-defined radio models, many of which will be particularly useful to mobile phone designers.

EMIT is a software tool for predicting and mitigating radio frequency co-site interference.

Compatible with CST STUDIO SUITE®, EMIT uses a unique multi-fidelity approach to identify and analyse electromagnetic interference in complex radio frequency environments.

The 13 new radio model additions to the library of EMIT V3.4, released this week, reduce the set up time for many co-site analyses.

The new radio models include: GSM, LTE, UMTS, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiGig, WiMax GPS, GLONASS and 802.15.4 (ZigBee).

EMIT’s integrated radio library now has a total of 58 pre-defined existing transceivers, receivers and transmitters, all included to save engineers time in the design process.

EMIT V3.4 also gives users the ability to define new digital noise sources for receiver desense analysis applications.

CST entered into a global distribution agreement with Delcross Technologies in 2013 and distributes both Delcross's simulation products, EMIT and Savant. Both of these products are compatible with CST STUDIO SUITE®. They can also use S-parameter and farfield data from CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® and CST DESIGN STUDIO™ for the further simulations.

CST customers with a valid maintenance agreement can download EMIT V3.4 here.
